New 1-1 with Soph x

Petale dashed into the carriage and they headed home.
"Where have you been, I was worried" said Eve cuddling Petale.
"I was looking for you lost friends" said Petale pointing to the castle
"My lost friends?" said Eve confused.
"Mama, dont get angry, but I looked in your diary!" said Petale
"You did what!" said Eve with fury.
"Darling, calm down please" said Clazak.

Everyone was silent after the arguement.
"Thankyou for waiting for us" said Petale and ran inside.
"Petale your muddy on your back" exclaimed Eve "Come and have a bath" and guided Petale to the bath-tub
"So what were you doing today" asked Eve while washing Petale's back
"I went to the queen and king and I made friends with the prince" said Petale smiling.
"What was the Queen called?" said Eve
"Im sure it was sky or skyrah" said Petale getting out of the bath and getting her towel.

Skyrah kissed Lyon's cheek, before closing the door behind her. She walked along the hallway, and down the stairs to the king and queen's chambers. 'Darling?' She asked opening the door.
'Skyrah?'
'Yes, I'm sorry about getting angry earlier. You were right to call a doctor, I didn't feel one-hundred percent today.' She walked across the room to where Rory was sat.
'And I'm sorry for not asking you first.'
'It's my fault.'
'It's never your fault.' Rory stood and kissed his wife gently.

Eve put Petale and Cristal to bed and kissed them on the cheek gently.
"Goodnight" said Eve and closed the door gently.

14 hours later...

"Wake up Petale and Cristal" said Eve and got their clothes ready.
"R..r...why its too early" said Petale.
"We are going to the next village to see the queen, king and prince! Your Papa and myself were talking about seeing these people ourselves" said Eve
"WHAT!" screamed Petale
"Aren't you pleased" said Eve
"Im delighted actually mummy" said Petale acting all grown up

30 minutes later...

Everyone was ready and they got into the carriage.
"Thankyou mama for taking me" said Petale
"Its okay" said Eve giving Petale a hug.
They got to the castle in the next village and walked up to the gate and knocked on the door

The butler opened the door. He recognized Eve, from six years ago. 'Princess.' He said bowing. 'We thought you would never return. Please, come this way.' He showed them to a sitting room on the first floor. 'Refreshments will be here shortly. Queen Skyrah has waited a long time for your return. I'll just go and fetch her.' He bowed and left the room.

Skyrah found herself carrying Lyon down several staircases, and into a smallish sitting room, which was equal to the size of one acre. She spotted Eve, and half hugged her, as she was holding Lyon in one arm. 'Are you back for good, Eve?'

Eve walked in and thought that Skyrah's name rang a bell.
"Oh hello, Skyrah" said Eve looking at Skyrah's child.
"Hello, you magesty sorry about yesterday" said Petale looking at the floor

'This is Lyon.' Skyrah told her, noticing that she was looking at him. 'Sweetie, say hello.' Lyon tucked his head into Skyrah's chest. 'He's a bit shy.' She told Eve, running a hand through his hair. 'I've met Petale, and its fine, its just that was the royal gardens, only the royal family are allowed there, but i didn't know that you were Eve's daughter.' Skyrah said kindly to the six year-old girl. 'I haven't met your other child though, what's your name?' She asked Cristal.

"I didnt know my daughter was trespassing" said Eve.
"Im Cristal" said Cristal and smiled sweetly.
Eve picked up Cristal and snugled her.

'Its fine, really.' Skyrah assured her. 'Are you staying?' She asked, putting Lyon down.
He fidgeted on the floor for awhile before getting up and hugging Skyrah's leg.

"Ok, I think we will stay for a bit" said Eve.
"Where is the king?" said Eve.
Clazak walked in the room where they were.
"Do you want me to take her" said Clazak taking Cristal.
"Sure, thanks" said Eve.
Petale walked over to Lyon and Petale sat next to him

'Rory is in a meeting about official business. It'll be finished soon. Why, did you want to speak with him?' Skyrah asked, gesturing for them to sit down.

Lyon scowled at Petale, clinging tighter to his mother's leg.
'Sweetie, please don't hold onto my leg like that.' Skyrah told him. He released her, and frowned harder.
'Hello.' He said to Petale.

Petale thought that Lyon didnt like her.
"Hello" said Petale back.
Cristal crawled over to Petale and Lyon.
"Pet...ale" said Cristal and sat on her lap.
"Sorry, this is my sister Cristal.

Eve and Clazak sat on the chairs next to Skyrah.
"So how is Rory" said Eve

'Rory is well, thank you.' Skyrah said, sitting politely. The butler came in and placed a tray of tea and biscuits on the table between them. She brushed her long chestnut hair out of her eyes, and poured them all tea. 'That will be all.' She told the butler, and he left the room, closing the door behind him.

Lyon sucked his lip for a few minutes, watching the two girls with caution. 'I met you yesterday. I gave yu that flower. Did you like it?' Lyon said, still in his superior way. 'Why are you here?'

"Thats good" said Clazak.
"Thankyou for the tea" said Eve.

"Yes, you did meet me yesterday, and thankyou again for the flower, I love it!" said Petale and blushed.
"We are here because my mama knew your mother and father and I wanted to bring them over" said Petale explaining.

Cristal was playing with Petale's long brown hair
"Stop it Cristal!" shouted Petale and pushed her off her lap

Lyon looked curiously at the two girls. 'Do you like having a sister?' He asked her openly. 'I've always wanted a big sister, or a little one, but mummy said that she couldn't have another child.' He told Petale, saying the last bit quietly, as if it were a secret that the adults couldn't hear.


Skyrah smiled at her old friends. 'Its the least I can do. Would you like to stay at the castle for a few nights, or would you rather go home? Lyon needs a friend, he relies on me to play with him, but sometimes I cant and he becomes bored. I'm sure Sebastian, our butler, or one of my maidens could take the little ones up to the playroom.' She suggested kindly.

"She's really annoying, but mama sayed that it would be good if I had a sibling" said Petale looking at Cristal

Eve looked at Clazak.
"Shall we?" said Clazak to Eve.
"Whats the harm?" said Eve to Clazak
"Are you sure, It would be great to catch up again" said Eve

'Wonderful.' Skyrah exclaimed happily and rang a bell on the table next to the tray of tea. Polly came through the opposite doors. 'Would you mind taking the children up to the playroom, Polly?' Skyrah asked her softly.
'Yes, Milady.' Polly replied curtsying and taking Lyon's hand. She lifted Cristal with the other, and asked Petale to follow, taking all three up the stairs and into a large room full of toys and cushions. 'Call if you need me.' She told the three, before closing the door behind her.

'I like Polly, and Isobel, they're nice. Mabel isn't though, she talks about Mummy when Mummy isn't there.' Lyon told Petale, standing and picking up a wooden horse. 'My pony's called Dapple. He's grey with white spots, and has a grey mane and tail. I ride with Daddy every weekend. Do you want to go riding tomorrow? We cant go today, cause Mummy and Daddy are both busy.' Lyon ranted, not really knowing if she was listening. 'Daddy always talks at dinner time before we can eat to some people. They stay for a few days, then some different people are there. Is it like that at your home? Mummy has five ladies that work for her, and three of them work for me too. Mummy will have to find you a dinner dress, as we dress up smart at dinner.'

Petale liked Lyon's horse Dapple.
"Can I hold it?" said Petale to Lyon?
"Horsey, Horseey!" exclaimed Cristal
"Really, we can go on your horses! I love horses" said Petale

Lyon nodded, surprised by there excitement. He handed Dapple to Petale, and picked up another of his wooden horses. 'This is Rosa.' He told Cristal, giving it to her. 'Daddy rides big horses. Usually a black mare called Tyri. I usually ride either Finn or Oracle, which are much smaller than Daddy's. Mummy only goes riding sometimes, and she rides her white Stallion, Kailib. Yes, we can, but we have to ask Daddy or Mummy, first.' He replied to Petale's last question.

Petale loved Lyon's horse and treated it like a real horse. So was Cristal.

'Do you want to play?' Lyon eagerly asked. 'Mummy and I play a game where people are trying to capture the horses, and the horses run away, look.' He pulled out a box full of wooden figures and a few horses.

Petale and Cristal looked away from Lyon's horses and looked at the wooden box.
"I want to play" said Cristal and Petale.

Lyon and the girls played for hours, having one of the best times in Lyon's life. He made the girls be the baddies, and himself the goodies. It was getting dark, so Skyrah told them all to go to bed. The two girls were taken to their rooms by Polly, and Lyon by his mother. 'Night!' He called to them.

Petale loved playing, she was so exited! They were playing for hours without getting bored. Petale was in bed now.
"Excuse me?" said Petale to Polly.
"Do you think Lyon likes me?" said Petale whispering.

'Ma'am, I have no right to say myself. The Prince is very shy really, so I wouldn't expect much niceness from him, but hes a good boy really.' Polly explained to Polly, whispering back. She tucked the two girls to bed, and bid them goodnight, closing the door behind her.

Lyon woke bright an early the next morning. He rang the by his door and waited for one of the maidens to appear and dress him. Isobel found him his riding clothes, saying that the King had said that they may go riding today, dressed him, and went to wake up the two girls.
She opened the curtains, letting in glorious rays of light, and opened the window to let a breeze in.
'Here you are, Miss.' Isobel said lightly, placing some riding clothes on the end of Petale's bed, and starting to dress Cristal. 'Prince Conrad is taking you today, as The King is very busy, but he says that you can still go riding.'

"Oh, thankyou Polly" said Petale and fell asleep.
Petale got woken up but Isobel the maid and looked at the riding clothes.
Yes Im going riding today thought Petale and got her clothes on
