New 1-1 with Soph x

She was born Skyrah Keternal, daughter of Madilison Stinfur and Gabrtitel Keternal. At the age of one, she was taken to a lower ladies academy, 'Ange de Demon', where she would be trained until the age of five to be a ladylike child. Of course, Skyrah accepted her fate quickly and quietly, but wishing that she didn't have to leave her loving parents, and her magical home.
Four and a half years past swiftly, and soon Skyrah forgot everything, even her parents faces. They were given new names when they came to the school, and when they left their names would be given back, as to keep away from 'distractions'. Skyrah was given Petale, and her new friend Eve was given Cristal.
When at last the time came for the students to leave the lower school, they had to options. The first was to move to the middle mixed academy until the age of ten and eleven, or go home to their families. Petale chose the first option without another thought.

One day, five years forward, Petale sat reading an old, thick book in a large field. The pasture was dotted with poppies and daffodils, and the sky was a clear blue. A humming filled the air, due to the years worth of students, and the pollinating of bees. She sat in a ring with her friends, Cristal, Framsta, Beau, Lills, and Caffin, all who wore long, pale dresses of varying colours. A shocked mumur ran through the circle.
'Hm... What is wrong?' Petale asked, looking up from her book.
'Beau over heard one of the teachers talking to the academissress. And... well apparently one of the girls in our year is a... princess.' Lills told her in a whisper.
'Hm?... Its probably someone pretty...' Was Petale's reply.
Framsta laughed, 'Its probably you Petale.'
'Don't be daft. If its any of us then it will be you Framsta.' Petale said, pulling a face.
'I think it's Caffin, or Cristal, both blonde...' Beau said grinning.
'What do you think... Cristal?' Petale asked, turning to face the girl next to her.

Cristal looked around the circle of friends,
"Don't be so ridiculous I ain't pretty, It is probabilly Petale or Caffin!". Cristal was a bit worried it could be her or anyone else in this circle of friends. Clazak joined the circle and sat next to Caffin.
"Did you hear someone is a princess?" said Clazak.
"Its probabilly anyone else execpt from me" Said Cristal.
"How Couldn't you be the princess you are very pretty" said Clazak embarressed.

'I wonder though... It could be any of us, and then we'd have to call them, your majesty, how silly would that be.' Petale said laughing.
They all giggled for awhile.
'Before we got onto this subject, we were talking about what sort of man we'd like.' Framsta told Petale. 'I want a romantic man, who will sweep me of my feet... Lills said she'd like the quiet type, a bit like you. And Caffin said that she would like an outgoing man, with many talents.'
'I'd like a romantic guy too!' Beau cried.
'Um... well, I know this sounds odd, but I've always dreamed of marring a prince. Its stupid, I know, but still...' Petale said blushing scarlet.

"Ive Always wanted to marry a sweet kind, romantic guy" said Cristal.
Clazak was looking at Cristal while she was saying that. Clazak has always had a crush on Cristal from the day she arrived at 'Ange de Demon'.
"Clazak, what is your type of girl then?" Said Cristal
"Well, mine is like a beautiful,sense of humour, kind and friendly" said Clazak.
Cristal was thinking who it could be she looked at Petale it must be her she is so pretty, kind, funny and friendly. Cristal thought that she should be the prinesses and Cristal wouldnt mind pronouncing her as her majesty.

*Btw, Petale and Cristal are only ten. After they go home, we skip another five years*

'Romantic, of course, someone who will make me smile...' Petale told them dreamily. Then something occurred to her. 'Beau, what did the academisstress say?'
'Um...' Beau, a dark haired, greened eyed girl, thought for a moment. 'Something along the lines of 'The princess in the last year's parents are coming, in person, to collect her, at the end of year celebrations, in five days.' Then they started muttering, so I ran here.'
'Its odd though. Wouldn't the princess have been told, surely...' Petale lapsed into silence.

'Petale! Petale! Get up Petale!' Lills shouted at her, hitting the tired body with pillows.
'Alright. Quit it Lills!' Petale groaned and sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. It was five days forward, since the news of a princess. The dim light told Petale that it was six oclock ish, and so she dressed into her ball gown, quickly, did her hair in a neat long plait that fell down her back, before rushing down the long stairway.
At the celebrations, there would be dancing, music, food, and farewells. The last, Petale was not looking forward too. She found her friends, who were waiting at the bottom of the stairway for her.

"Hello Petale" Said Cristal.
Cristal was still thinking who could the princess could be. There was a pale young girl who walked down the stairs and into the room. Cristal was shocked.
"Clazak, could that be the princess?" said Cristal
"I'm not sure but it could be" said Clazak staring at her

'Good evening everyone.' Said a loud voice behind them. They turned around, but continued talking in whispers. 'As some of you have heard, we have recived some very important guests. I am here to tell you that the king and queen have come to collect their daughter, who placed her as a young child, here in Ange de Demon.' The man paused. 'Petale! Please make your way to the front.'
'What?' Said Petale, shocked. Was she the princess? How could she be? Hesitantly, she made her way to where the man stood.
He coughed once and continued, 'Here i present to you, Princess Eve.' A chorus of claps and cheers came from the group.
'I always thought you would be blonde, like me, but what do i know.' A man in a red suit and short white blonde hair told her, smiling. 'Its good to see you again, Eve.' He hugged her, and she hugged him back, finely feeling as if she belonged.

Cristal was quite suprised that is was Petale and now she is Princess Eve. Cristal always wanted to be called Eve and also be a princess she looked at Clazak.
"Did you know that she was the princess?" said Cristal shocked.
"No I didnt, but I always had in my heart that it was you and I was shocked that it wasnt you" said Clazak.
Cristal was already at Petale before Clazak finished his sentance.
"Well done Petale or should I call you Princess Eve" Said Cristal and bowed to the Princess.
Clazak rushed to Eve to say congratulations.

'I just, Its so, I cant explain it Cristal. One minute I was an ordinary, high educated ten year old girl, and now im a princess. You can still call me Petale if you want.' Eve told her friends happily, releasing her father, and hugging her friends. 'Don't bow. I wonder who your family is...' She said, searching through the crowd.

*Five years later*

'Morning Princess. Did you sleep well?' Isobel Crafter, once called Framsta, said, lightly entering the room, and placing Eve's dresses on an empty chair. Her hair was a shade darker than Eve's, and straighter, as her's had small waves.
Eve sat up in her four poster bed, remembering the night before's farewell ball. She got out of bed, and sat on another chair, facing the mirror. Isobel did her hair in a neat plait, before winding it round in a bun, making sure that no strands of hair came loose. Her maiden then dressed her in a forest green gown, and left the room, to give Eve some time alone.
I am princess Eve. I am to be married in four months time. I am leaving everything behind for my two month ride to Sassana.
Eve sighed. A knock came at the door. 'Come in.' She said wearily.

"Skyrah, Skyrah, Skyrah wake up its time to wake up and go to wizard school" Said Eline.
Skyrah woke up and dragged herself down the stairs.
"What would you like for breakfast" said Eline.
"I'll make it" said Skyrah.
"Oh, okay then" said Eline.
Eline got out her wand and whispered the spell since Skyrah wasnt sure of the spell and she would probabily of got it wrong anyway.
"Ahh, some perfect hot toast with melted butter and a cup of tea" said Skyrah

The king stepped into the room, smiling in a sad way. 'Eve.'
'Father!' She exclaimed, running to him, and fastening her arms around is not so small body.
'Its okay, Eve.' He told her, patting her head with his un-callused hands.
'Father, I'm so scared. I want to stay here, and rule my country, but instead I must go to marry some other prince.' Eve said, burring her head in his shoulder, tears falling silently from her violet eyes.
'Eve, what is it that you want? I can do anything you desire.'
'I want the Royal Wizards daughter, Skyrah.'
'I'll send a messenger to her.'

Skyrah came back from wizard school happy as ever.
"Skyrah, you have a letter from the king, you know Petale from your old school her father" said Eline.
"Oh, thankyou Eline" said Skyrah
Skyrah ran to her desk and opened the envelop and revealed a letter

A messenger arrived quickly, and the king asked Eve to write the letter. She sat on her bed, and wrote in a small notebook;

Dear Skyrah Keternal,

My whole life waits for me in a different country. Its arms reach out to me with hope and fear. You are my cherished friend, and I will always rely on you. The one thing that I ask of you is to come with me. Come with me to my betrothed and his country. You shall always be Cristal, the girl who I loved, like the sister I never had.

Princess Eve

The messenger put the note in an envelope, and hurried to deliver it in time for midday.

Skyrah was exited and wrote back:

Dear Princess Eve

Thankyou for your important letter, I would love to go with you to a different country but why do you desire to leave your father and mother to be with me? I wouldn't know what to do with my father and mother they tell me the right and wrong but I think I have to make my own choices soon. I'll come with you if you wanted me to

Skyrah Keternal

At one o'clock, Eve heard a knock at her door. She was watching her maidens pack her clothes, while she read an old book that her father had given her when she had come home from Ange de Demon. It was about a dragon, who was slayn by a brave prince. 'Come in.' She called sulkily.
The messenger bowed and placed a letter on her bedside table. He closed the wooden door behind him as he left.
She picked up the letter and recognized Skyrah's blocky writing, she wrote;

Dear Skyrah Keternal,

Thankyou for accepting my offer. In answer to your question, I do not wish to leave my parents, but I must. From the age of ten, I have been betrothed to the prince of Sassana. Now I must leave, and in four months time I shall be wed. Will you come with me as my maiden and friend? I am not forcing you. Princess is only a title, I am giving you a choice. Please do not reply, as I will not get the message. I leave at two thirty exactly.

Princess Eve

Skyrah was a bit scared at this time, should she go with her childhood friend to see her get wed or stay here and betray her. Skyrah went to her room and got all her clothes including her mothers wedding dress.
"This will do for the wedding" said Skyrah to herself
Skyrah went downstairs and wrote a note to her parents:

Dear Mother & Father
I have decided to take my own ways and go with my childhood friend Princess Eve, she desires me to be her maiden and friend along the way to be wed to Prince Sassana. Ill be gone for 4 months and will be travelling with Princess Eve aswell. I cannot tell you where I am going or where I am setting off but I will miss you

Your Daughter Skyrah x

Eve waited. Twenty minutes, thirty, sixty, seventy, eighty...
'Eve.' She turned to see her mother, a fearless, loving queen. 'So that you know, I'll always love you. In the spring, we will come and visit, at least once a year. The road will be hard, but you will enjoy yourself, as i did when i made my way from Anli to your father twenty years ago.'
'Thank you Mother. I will be strong... for you.' Eve told her, the last words shaky.
'Princess, the time for you to leave is near.' Said Isobel, putting a hand on her shoulder.
'I've never thanked you Isobel.'
'For what My Queen?'
'For looking after my daughter so well. She wouldn't have been the woman she is without you.'
'Thank you Your Majesty.' Isobel replied, looking flattered.
'We shall see you off, Eve.' The queen left the room followed by Eve's maidens, and then, taking one last look around her room, Eve.

Skyrah bumped into Clazak while she went out the door.
"Where are you going off to" said Clazak wiping the tear away
"Im going on holiday with Princess Eve" said Skyrah.
"You two did keep in touch" saud Clazak
"Of Course, she was by best friend nearly sisters" said Skyrah
"And you and I were like" said Clazak trailing off.
"Sorry, I've got to leave and meet Princess Eve" said Skyrah
"Oh, okay then" said Clazak and had a tear in his eye.

Fifteen horses were saddled by the kings instruction. He chose ten of his bravest men to escort the princess. All the food and supplies that they would need were put in three large carts, and another cart was filled with Eve's things. Her four maidens mounted their horses warily, trying not to do anything that might spook the horse.
Eve kissed her parents goodbye, and mounted her stallion, Kailib. Still Skyrah had not arrived. She had barely five minutes. Oh well, I did give her a choice.

Skyrah was moments away from where Princess Eve was.
"I knew I should of replied to Eve" said Skyrah
"Now dont let yourself down she will wait for you" said Eline.
Back at Skyrah's home her mother and father came through the door angrily.
"Where in the world could one girl go?" said Petoe
"Now, now calm down love" said Saro
Petoe and Saro found the half folden note on the desk of Skyrah.
"Petoe, you promise you wont get angry about this?" said Saro
"I promise" said Petoe
There was a tear in Saro's eye
"Skyrah has gone with Princess Eve to see her get married to the Prince" said Saro
"She has gone without iur permission" said Petoe
"You promised you wouldn't get angry dear" said Saro.
Skyrah saw Eve in the distance waiting for her.

Eve spotted Skyrah in the distance. She waved, and beckoned for her to ride a mare, whose reins were held by Eve.
The group started to ride along, luckily in the direction of where Skyrah was. 'Cristal!' She exclaimed as they drew near. 'I can't believe you came.'
'Princess, do you want us to stop?' A man in the blood red uniform of the king asked her politely. He was very tall and slightly muscular. His face was slightly babyish, and handsome. His hair a black, and quite long, the ends, curling around his neck.
'Yes, thank you. What is your name?'
'Captain Rory.' He told her, signaling for the front of the group to halt.

Skyrah waved at Eve.
"Wow is that Princess Eve?" Said Eline
"Yes It Is" Said Skyrah Proudly.
Skyrah mounted off of the horse unstedily. Skyrah heard whispers from Eve and the captian of the carriage.
"Of course I came Princess Eve, I couldnt let you down, we are bestfriends for ever" said Skyrah

'We're always be friends Cristal, I mean, Skyrah.' She smiled uncertainly, then said, 'Wait here, I have something for you.' She rushed off to the carriage with her things in, and came back out with a beautiful red, maidens dress. 'As you are now my maiden, you get a high quality dress. Go inside and try it on!' Eve told her, smiling brightly. 'We're going in a few minutes.'
'Princess?' Captain Rory called from the front.
'Yes?' She said, walking over.
'Do you have any preference on paths? What I mean to say is, shall we take the main roads, or the forest ones?' He asked her smiling.
'Er... I think the main roads, but do whatever you think is best Captain.'
'Please Princess, call me Rory.'

Skyrah went into the carriage, it was beautiful. She closed the curtains and got changed into the most beautiful dress she had ever seen in her life.
"Its a perfect fit" said Skyrah giggling.
Skyrah opened the carraige door and climbed out.

'Er... alright, Rory.' Eve said, smiling nervously.
He smiled back, and tucked a loose bit of hair behind her ear.
'Captain!' He turned away, and walked towards the man who had spoken. 'Its time to move.'

Eve mounted Kailib, and rode at the front, by Rory. They talked non stop, until it was time to camp.
'We shall scout the area, and give you seven ladies some privacy.' Rory told them, riding off with the guard.
Isobel, Saren, Lidia, and Polly set up a red tent, and dressed Eve in her night clothes. They then set up two more tents, and gave another for Skyrah to set up.

The men came back an hour later, saying that there was not a person in sight. Eve poked her head out of the tent flap, and smelt cooking stew. She wrapped a blanket around herself and came to sit beside Rory, around the fire.
